Can you tell us a fun fact about yourself?
Before I started my education as graphic designer, I already designed T-shirts for bands like Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kid Rock, Rage Against the Machine…
What was the first thing on your mind when you entered the Merchandise Essentials HQ?
I started as a freelance graphic designer at Merchandise Essentials. When I started here, the first thing I thought was ‘I would really like to work here’. And now I’m an official member of the team. The atmosphere is always great and I can do what I love, designing merchandise.
What is it you like the most about your job as designer?
I love to let my creativity run wild, unleash my ideas and convert them into awesome designs. The variation is great. I make completely different designs for different clients, everyday.
What is your favorite core value?
‘More Than Merch’. One day, my colleague Sarah came to me and asked if I could adjust a design of a client. I did not feel good about that design, people wouldn’t love to wear it. It’s our goal to create clothing that people love to wear, so I decided to make a completely new design. The client didn’t ask for that, but was pleasantly surprised. Result: his T-shirts were sold out in no time!
